Since 1965, Wickeltechnik Langer has stood for expertise, quality and customer-specific solutions in the field of transformer technology. What once began as a small family business has developed over more than six decades into a specialized company with a worldwide presence.
Innovation has always been a key priority for the family company. The aim has always been not only to keep pace with technical developments, but to remain one step ahead whenever possible. At the same time, the high quality standard of the products remains the benchmark for the company’s daily work.
Our History
1965
The company was founded in 1965 by Wolfgang Langer and his wife in Hannover-Hainholz.
1970
Just a few years later, in 1970, the company continued to grow and moved to the industrial area of Laatzen/Rethen. At Bremer Straße 3, the company found a new location — conveniently situated with excellent transport connections and in close proximity to the Hannover Messe trade fair.
1990
In 1990, the company expanded once again: a larger new building was put into operation directly next to the existing premises at Bremer Straße 5.
2021
In 2021, Wolfgang Langer handed the company over to his son Dietmar Röver and his daughter-in-law.
Heute
Today, the company is jointly managed by them and is already being actively supported by the next generation. Patrick Röver is responsible for the development and calculation of transformers, while Melanie Röver works together with her mother in the commercial and administrative area of the business.
Wickeltechnik Langer specializes, among other things, in high-voltage transformers for laser, X-ray and testing technology in oil. In addition, the company’s product range includes transformers, coils, chokes, filters and, above all, customer-specific transformers. Every product is manufactured with great care and tested according to high quality standards.
A particular focus lies on individual solutions. Not every customer requires an off-the-shelf product. In many cases, special specifications, technical requirements or unique fields of application must be taken into account. This is where Wickeltechnik Langer contributes its many years of experience: from development and calculation through to production, solutions are created that are precisely tailored to the customer’s specific needs.
Today, Wickeltechnik Langer products are used worldwide. Many renowned specialist manufacturers are among the company’s customers and rely on the quality, reliability and experience of this family business.
