Single-Phase Transformers
A single-phase transformer consists of a magnetic and an electrical part. The magnetic core (primary winding) conducts magnetic flux, which induces voltage in the electrically isolated secondary winding (usually copper).

High-Voltage/Oil-Immersed Transformers
